OPRD is considering changing park rules that may impact your reservation including refunds and cancellations. Read more about proposed rules and share your comment. The park will have closures through June of 2026 due to construction in various areas throughout the park. Effective December 2025 The campground entrance road at Fort Stevens State Park will be undergoing culvert repairs. This will cause intermittent closures of the campground entrance road and dump station facilities. Alternate access through the South Jetty day use road will be available for access to all parts of the park. Extra Vehicles: Campsite fees include parking for one vehicle. Campers may have a total of two vehicles per site; extra vehicle fee is $10 per night. Now Available: Register extra vehicles online when booking or before check-in. Alternate parking is available only for second vehicles that do not fit on parking pad. Additional vehicles will not be allowed in the Park overnight. Seasonal beach restrictions March 15 - Sep. 15: Beach restrictions are in place on Clatsop Spit west of the Fishermen's Beach access to the South Jetty during nesting season for the Western Snowy Plover.
