Hampton Beach State Park (South) Campground - 29 Sites, Maps & Photos

Hampton Beach State Park is open year round. However the RV campground is open only from early May to end of October Hampton Beach State Park provides recreation, with Atlantic ocean-front facilities situated along miles of sandy beach. The Seashell complex includes a band shell amphitheater, public information services, comfort station, and first aid. Activities in the park include swimming, fishing, picnicking, and RV camping with full hook-ups in the campground. Hampton Beach State Park RV Campground, with 29 sites and a park store, is the only RV park directly on the New Hampshire coast. The park is located at the mouth of the Hampton River and close to many area attractions including whale watching, saltwater fishing, charter boats, sandy beaches, and swimming. The park is located south of the main part of Hampton Beach on Route 1A at the Seabrook/Hampton town line. Campers must be able to hook up to water, sewer, and electricity, NO tents or pop ups. The parking day pass is NOT valid at the metered parking lots. Pass is only valid at Hampton Beach State Park (South) located at 8 State Park Road, Hampton, NH. Thank you.

Important Note for Lottery Winners If you do not check in to your site by 12pm on the day after your reservation arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled and your site will be resold. Your reservation will be listed under "My Reservations & Account > Lottery Applications > Reservations" in your Reserve America page. Park Information Campers must hook up to all 3 services (water, sewer and electric). Campers that cannot meet this requirement will be asked to leave. Tents and Pop-ups are NOT allowed. No restroom or shower facilities are available at the campground No cassette toilets allowed Pet Policy This is a NON pet campground except between Sept 14 and October 31 only. Anyone entering with a pet during not allowed time will be asked to leave. Visitors may camp with their pets from 9/14 through 10/31. For more information on the NH State Parks Pet Policy, or to see where pets are allowed, please visit: NH State Parks Pet Policy Cancellation & Refund Policy: There is a new cancellation policy in effect as of 2/1/2024 Full refund minus transaction fee if you cancel at least 10 + days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Full refund minus reservation fee plus cost of one night of camping if you cancel 4-9 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. No refund if you cancel 0-3 days from your scheduled arrival date. NH State Parks does not issue refunds due to insects or weather. Any cancellations or changes to a reservation need to be done through Reserve America and cancellation fees will apply. Firewood Notice: Attention! Please do not bring out-of-state firewood with you. Firewood can carry exotic insects and tree diseases. Safe firewood is available to purchase at the campground for your convenience. Fee Information: NH Senior Citizens are given a $5 per night discount to all campgrounds with the exception of Cannon Mountain RV, Ellacoya, and Hampton Beach. NH Seniors must bring their NH photo ID for discount verification. NH State Employees are given a 50% discount on campsites with the exception of yurts and cabins. NH State Employees must bring their State ID or current paystub for discount to be applied. Stay Rules: Hampton Beach and Ellacoya RV parks shall have a maximum camping duration of 14 consecutive or accumulative days from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend for any person or camping vehicle. Extensions of camping permits at Hampton Beach and Ellacoya RV parks shall not be permitted.
